Spirit Island Energy Counter (0-20 Dial)

A small rotating dial that tracks **Spirit Island energy** (0..20) through

a window under a cap embossed with the **eight Spirit Island element

glyphs**: sun, moon, fire, air, water, earth, plant, animal. One per

player for fast, fiddly-counter-free play.

Two physical pieces that **snap together once and stay**:

1. **Base** — wavy disc with a central post. Numbers 0..20 sit flush-inlaid

on the top face in contrast colour around the rim.

2. **Cap** — smaller wavy disc with a hole down the middle and a window cut

through the rim. The eight element icons sit on top as raised relief.

The post has a 0.4 mm ring ridge; the cap's bore has a matching pocket

above a narrower body with four vertical slits that flex past the ridge

on first install, then trap it. The cap spins freely but can't lift off.

**To read** the current value: hold the cap steady, twist the base. The

base's wavy rim sticks out below the cap so each disc has its own

independent finger-grip surface. The active digit shows through the

window.

- **Filament A (body)** — base body + cap body

- **Filament B (accent)** — base numbers + cap glyphs

Import all four STLs; they share an origin so they line up. Assign

filament A to the two body parts and filament B to the numbers and

glyphs. No supports — every overhang is ≤ 45°.

- Flat on the bed, 0.2 mm layer, 2-3 walls, 15% infill.

- PLA or PETG; tested on Bambu P2S with PLA Basic.

- **Assembly** — press the cap straight down onto the post. Firm push,

faint click as the four petals settle into the pocket. Done. No glue.

- If the cap rotates too tight after snap-in, ream the bore body (not the

pocket) by 0.1 mm. If it rattles, one wrap of PTFE tape on the post.
