collaborations with the original publishers to bring previously produced projects back into the spotlight. While they weren't necessarily miniatures games, these games supposedly had outstanding gameplay and superb replay value. Following its official liquidation in October 2025, Mythic Games has left funded projects such as Darkest Dungeon Wave 2, Monsterpocalypse, and Rise of the Necromancers permanently unfulfilled. The company's collapse results in the loss of nearly $5 million in original campaign funds, in addition to the "extra contributions" paid by thousands of backers for production costs that were never realized. The IP for two unfulfilled crowdfunded games - Hel and Anastyr, as well as Super Fantasy Brawl, Enchanters, & Steam Watchers was sold to CMON Global Limited ; IP for 6:Siege was sold to Steamforged Games Ltd. ; IP for Monsterpocalypse was returned to Privateer Press. https://boardgamewire.com/index.php/2025/12/10/darkest-dungeon-board-game-maker-mythic-games-officially-liquidated-fails-to-deliver-on-millions-of-dollars-worth-of-crowdfunding-projects/ —description from the publisher Microbadge - Mythic Games fan Related: - Phoenix Line
