Max J. Kobbert (born 1944 in Königsberg) is a German game designer and professor of cognitive psychology. He is known for his series of Labyrinth board games. Kobbert had contemplated a changing labyrinth-type game since he was a student. In 1971, he got married and signed a game publishing contract.
