Kingdom Death Card Boxes V2

Because I was torn between a unified Red Witches box and a singular one, I've provided both; however, to avoid confusion, the boxes for the individual witches are here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:7126088

These deck boxes are an updated design of my previous KDM card boxes. They are primarily a remaster as I transitioned to a new modeling program for a much more robust and user-friendly modeling experience. However, this came with a trade off of a significantly less user-friendly automation API, and compromises had to be made.

One of these compromises is that every lid is now accompanied by a paired box file, even if the box is identical to another box. This is a result both of the new export process and also accommodating new card sizes as I've included boxes that manage all sizes of art cards as well as the Knowledge cards and Bone Eater cards from the Gambler's Chest.

Similarly, due to a few tweaks and improvements, these box lids are not compatible with the V1 boxes, but I have left the V1 files available should anyone wish to use those instead or replace broken components from older boxes.

One particular improvement made over the V1 boxes is that the tolerances are more consistent, so doing post-print sanding should no longer be an issue provided you generally stick with the print settings I have used.

Showdown boxes are intended to hold the following monster cards: Hit Location, AI, (Strange) Resources, Hunt Events, and additional specialty cards for the monster like Atnas's Sword Craft cards. They are not designed to hold all cards from an expansion, though printing at a large box might allow you to do so, even with thicker sleeves.

The sleeves that these boxes were designed around are the Sleeve Kings 60 micron sleeves. If you are using a brand that is thicker, like Paladin for example, you will need to print boxes of a size larger than those listed below for some. In general though, if you are using 60 micron sleeves or unsleeved cards, the smaller boxes are for you. If you like premium thickness sleeves (100 micron), you may be able to get away with smaller deck boxes, but it'll be up to you to determine your preference.

The boxes are labeled based on the thickness of the deck they are intended to fit. If you're uncertain about the size of box you need to print, simply measure the deck you intend on putting in the box. For example, a lid or box with 36mm in the name should hold a deck 36mm thick comfortably. The one exception to this is the Bone Eaters box as it has a compartment in the box for holding the smaller cards as well.

- 03/05/2024: Add Black Knight and Vignette/Campaigns boxes
- 03/22/2024: Add blank lids for people wanting to use sharpies or labels. "Standard" is for regular monster boxes and "knowledge" is for the GCE knowledge-sized cards. Blank lids weren't provided for the large Art boxes, but can be on request.
- 06/07/2024: Add Frogdog and Strange Resources boxes as well as a 51mm Resources box for those wanting to split Strange Resources from regular Resources and Vermin and the 66mm Resources box would be too big.
- Note that the 66mm Frogdog box _barely_ fits all the cards with Sleeve Kings sleeves (without the strange resources). I mean like one more card would be too much kind of barely. If you have doubts, go with the 81mm box or test your fit on another 66mm box you've printed before.
- By request, I've also included a 68mm Frogdog box (marked with ALTERNATE) to address the fit issue from above for 60 mil sleeves. All these boxes are built to be in standard 15mm depth increments and this is the first box to break that mold, so if you print it, it'll just be a hair out of whack with everything else. This would personally annoy the hell out of me, but you do you :)
- 08/09/2024: Added an Events/Discoveries box. As we get more settlement events, scout discoveries, and similar sized cards, my previous (unpublished) solution for containing settlement events isn't holding up anymore. At the moment (right after Frogdog), this box holds all settlement events, scout discoveries, and even the philosophy books from GCE.
- 08/31/2024: Added boxes for Secret Fighting Arts and Seed Patterns in case people want to break those decks out specifically.
- 08/23/2025: Added boxes for Red Witches and Pariah.
- 06/01/2026: Added boxes for Screaming God and Parasite Queen.
